In 2006, we ultimately chose Transvalor as we were having quality problems with a profile rolled ring. It was a complex process and the team had attempted to perfect the process for years and we struggled to find a solution. When we implemented FORGE®  simulation software, we started to solve problems on parts that were already in production. After creating simulations and recreating defects, we could pinpoint the issues and trace them back to the root cause. With minor changes in tooling or in preform, the team easily re-ran simulations until quality issues were eliminated. From the start, we were amazed with the accuracy.

Over the past 14 years, we have continued to have confidence in the software and drastically reduce design iteration timing - from weeks to hours. At Scot Forge, we developed the motto, Making the Impossible, Possible and FORGE® software is a key to making these words a reality. When we achieve success with each part, the size and complexity for the next part can be imagined and with Transvalor, realized. The industry and competition have changed drastically over the last 14 years and as we navigate through uncharted territory, we have used the FORGE® simulation software to light the way.
